Around 30 protesters, including those injured during the July People’s Uprising and the families of martyrs, have been peacefully demonstrating outside the Chief Adviser’s office for over 24 hours, demanding action on their three key requests.

On Thursday morning, February 27, at 11 a.m., these protesters were seen maintaining their peaceful sit-in in front of the office.

They had first gathered at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 26, at the No. 1 gate of the Chief Adviser‍‍`s office before moving to the main gate where they continued their protest.

The protesters are mainly calling for three specific demands:

  1. Merger of Categories: They are requesting that the current three categories for the injured be merged into two for a fairer classification.
  2. Protection Law: They are seeking the establishment of a law that will ensure the protection of families of martyrs and those injured.
  3. Hotline Service: They are demanding a hotline to assist injured individuals, especially those from remote areas, who were hurt during the July uprising.

Despite the protest, they continued to chant slogans whenever a government vehicle carrying the national flag passed by, with their chant: "One, two, three, four, all these crooks!"

The protesters have made it clear they will not end their sit-in until their demands are addressed.

In response, law enforcement officials have been seen keeping a close eye on the situation around the Chief Adviser’s office, ready to maintain order if needed.

The ongoing sit-in has raised concerns about the government‍‍`s handling of the protest, and it remains to be seen if any action will be taken to address the protesters‍‍` demands.
